Pocket Watch: Antique Silver Pluto Full Hunter Pocket Watch

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Pluto, a brand name registered several times by various companies. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The case measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside all three covers for London (import mark), 1914 with a case maker’s mark for the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has some unevenness to the front and back. The movement and case have been put together at some stage, they are not original to each other. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition (some white reflection showing in the photos). The dial is in nice condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All Prices Include UK Postage.
