Pocket Watch Chain Sterling Silver Fob 1972 Vintage Mop & Onyx Large Spinner Fob

Vintage Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) large and highly ornate Gentleman's pocket watch chain spinner fob set with an iridescent Mother Of Pearl stone to one side and a jet black onyx stone to the other. C~1972. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.9cm width and weighs a very respectable 8.2 grams. Wonderful and highly ornate Victorian revival fob which is adorned to both sides with intricate scrollwork and fluting - reminds me of butterfly wings. Hallmarked to one side (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the anchor (Birmingham assay) and capital letter; X - dating her to 1972. Also stamped with the silver purity; 925 and makers initials (again both within recessed cartouches); Li. The two cabochon cut stones (each measures 1.7cm x 1.3cm) are set within a wide oval shaped spinner 'drum case' - iridescent Mother of pearl to one side and jet black onyx stone to the opposite side Wide ornate bail and large robust secure silver top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear and just a few very light and fine (micro) overall little surface scratches and tiny bit of patina (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
