Description
This is a charming item of gentleman's dressing room ware, dating from the early 20th Century. This is a round box with a pull off lid and is made of Gaboon Ebony. The top is mounted with silver detail, with a half moon shaped panel, featuring acanthus leaf engraving and a vacant cartouche. Above in script, is a silver panel reading 'Studs'. Originally for collar or lapel studs, this would work well for cuff links or rings. An elegant and practical piece from a bygone era.
