This is a trio of antique fire tools. An English brass and cast iron companion set with shovel, poker and tongs, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
Fine Georgian companion set of useful size, with superb colour. Each displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Quality brass presents bright golden hues and fine tonality. Tactile and attractive handles with concentric ring finish. Attractive shovel scoop with an ornate fretwork pattern. Coal tongs open smoothly, the poker replete with cast iron point.
This is a superb trio of antique fire tools, suitable for all fuel types and a graceful addition to the fireplace. Delivered ready to use.
