19th Century Lead Urns or Planters

A pair of attractive and good size urns or planters made of six lead panels in a hexagonal shape with a lead base. Each panel has a crenellated or scroll design to the top and a Tudor Rose relief motif on the face. They will make a great addition to any garden, giving a good root depth for plants. Made of lead, these are extremely heavy and not easily moved or stolen from an open area and so might be ideal in a public space. The joints between the panels are in good order and these are in good age-related condition. The widest measurement between panels is 52 cm at the top, but each measurement is slightly different indicating that there has been some bend in the panels, but this is not obvious to the appearance. There are three holes punched into the bottom of each one, allowing water to drain.
