Description
This is an early 1900s display barograph by well known optical and marine instrument suppliers, Chadburn's of 47, Castle Street, Liverpool. The case is in heavy ebonized hardwood on bun feet with thick bevelled glass to the lift-off lid. It comes complete with the original large cut glass ink bottle, so very typical of late Victorian style. The clock and barograph movement are in excellent working condition and the lacquered brass has been well maintained.
It comes with a selection of charts, a bottle of recording ink and a reprinted copy of an instruction pamphlet with interpretations of typical chart recordings.
