Alison lives in a small village in Cambridgeshire and has been involved in the antiques trade for thirty years. A qualified auctioneer, she has a BA Hons in Valuation of Fine Art and Chattels and has worked in a London auction house and for The Potteries Museum as well as exhibiting at fairs in London and East Anglia. She is a keen collector of 18th and 19th century Staffordshire ceramics, turn of the century art pottery and English silver novelty items.

Very rare collector's item. This is a fine Scottish silver Peter Pan bookmark, assayed at the Glasgow Office. A delightful example of George V silver, this fine piece features the famous children's character Peter Pan - the boy who never grew up. This charming and much loved figure, is the titular character in the popular children's book by J M Barrie published in 1911. A statue of Peter stands in Kensington Gardens, London.
