Description
The watch has a 7 jewel Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons was an English case maker, the company supplied cases for various watch manufacturers. The case has light surface marking and a couple of small “dings”but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.
The movement is later to the case although correct.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is in nice condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
