In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, sides and front. There is fading, splitting and nail marks to the top (pictured), however, this does not affect the integrity of the piece. There is shrinkage to the inside base of the piece (pictured), as well as historic nail and glue repairs to the inside of the lid (pictured), the pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a great example of an antique pine trunk.
