Description
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed, has handsomely patterned plates and a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The serial number, 24083686 which dates it back to 1921.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison watch case company. The case has light surface marking and light wear to the bottom edge of the back from use but overall it is in ice condition for a 1920s piece.
The glass lens has minor marking from use.
The dial is in good condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
