Colin Hunter - Artist

Colin Hunter, the hugely successful Scottish Victorian seascape painter began his career as a landscape painter. In the 1860s his reputation for seascapes became established. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and worked in Edinburgh for some years. His works are currently exhibited in many museums around the world, including the London Tate and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
