Description
1961 Omega Seamaster Automatic wristwatch. A silvered 'champagne' dial with a date aperture to 3 o'clock. Applied gilt hour markers each with a central black strip and champfered to both ends. Signed 'Swiss made ' below 6 o'clock. Applied Omega logo below 12. The hours and minutes are indicated by 'dauphine' hands.
It has a stainless steel case with a sloped bezel and thick lugs. The lugs have a tapering effect to the sides and the end. The watch is embossed to the back 'Seamaster' below the 'Hippocampus' logo of the line. This watch bears the reference 14763 Sc 61. Complete with its original Omega stainless steel beads of rice bracelet.
The watch is powered by a 24 jewel caliber 562 Omega mechanism. The 18m serial numbers date the watch to 1961.
