17th Century French Iron Prisoner Shackles with Locks and Keys
An amazing find, 3 full length twisted iron link chains and 2 locks both working, if a bit stiff, tight and with keys. These pieces are rusty but all very sound. They were used to restrain prisoners mostly during transportation to or from the South Seas.
The chains are 22” long and the locks are 5” square.
