Antique Set of Large Panoramic Railway Aquatints Titled Travelling on the Liverpool & Manchester Railway by S. G. Hughes Published by R. Ackermann, London 1833 Original pair of early 19th Century engravings showing the world's first inter city railway between Liverpool & Manchester with early hand colouring mostly to plate one, mounted in later wooden frames. Each frame measures approx 29.5" x 14.5 inches.

condition
Several creases or closed tears to both engravings with some marginal marks & surface abrasions mostly to bottom of plate one, centre fold to plate 2, few knocks to frames with old insect holes to wood panel on rear boards, overall a few faults but still in good acceptable condition. Please note that some reflections present in images are from the picture glass.
