1897 Sterling Silver Pocket Watch Chain Albert Victorian Graduated Links & T Bar

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) traditional graduated curb link Antique pocket watch chain / Albert with large T bar and big dog clip. Similar to the pocket watch chain I supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Pocket watch shown (Winegartens Railway Regulator 18 size) is for display purposes only and Not included. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 33cm / 13" length and weighs a heavy 47.7 grams. Chunky Sterling silver traditional graduated curb links (each hallmarked with the Lion Passant) which measure 2cm width to centre and taper down each side to 7mm wide - all reflect the light beautifully. One of the big central links is stamped to one side (within a banner shaped cartouche) with the makers initials; Cdb. Large T bar to one end which is fully hallmarked with the Lion passant (Sterling silver) and fancy Gothic letter; X - dating to 1897. Again carries the makers initials; Cdb. Robust big Sterling silver dog clip to the other end (operates correctly) which is hallmarked with the Lion passant and lower case fancy letter; a - indicating Birmingham Assay 1900, carries the makers initials; Hb and is stamped to the inside; Patent (suspect this was a replacement for the original dog clip although dated only three years apart from the T Bar). Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar (again every link stamped with the Lion Passant) with round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a tiny bit of very light overall patina / little surface scratches commensurate with age.
