1920s Pocket Watch Chain Fob 12ct Gold Plated Horse Racing Cigar Cutter Fob

Gentleman's highly unusual original 12ct gold plated (professionally tested) antique pocket watch chain equestrian horse racing jockey cap little cigar/cheroot cutter Patented fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures: 3.6cm height (including the top ring), 1.6cm width and weighs a respectable 6.3 grams. Attractive raised horse racing jockey cap shaped fob which is beautifully decorated with alternating dark green and Cardinal red enamel (in amazing condition with no chips or 'flea nibbles') with a cheeky little bow to front. The back is smooth, highly polished (free from any inscriptions or initials) and is stamped within a recessed cartouche: Patent. The cutting action operates correctly by pushing the button on the top of the jockey cap which releases the blade and the hole to insert your cigar/cheroot is 7mm diameter. Original secure robust gold plated top ring (sealed link) to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage, just a tiny (micro) bit of overall wear/patina and very light little surface scratches commensurate with age.
