1930s Art Deco Period Oak Cheval Dressing Floor Mirror Gordon Russell

This is such a good looking piece and once again a seldom seen piece. Its design leans towards the modernist movement with the long part bevelled frameless mirror sitting on a well made and toned oak base with simple elegant lines. The mirror’s quality, build and design are very much attributed to Gordon Russell or at least a similar quality designer. Was located alongside several Russell pieces. Condition is good - we have a little foxing to the mirror but only light spots close to the edges, no cracks or chips. The oak base is of a lovely tone and grain with a little wear to the edges. The mirror sits in a static cantilever “floating” style and is well attached. A rather good full length mirror of super quality from top to bottom, English 1930s.
