19th C Surveyors Metamorphic Instrument Box/Table A very rare piece, the carrying box originally held many pieces of the surveyor’s equipment. There are specific compartments which would have held them - none of these pieces are present, but the box is very interesting as it converts into a large double height stand which could have been used on site. The closed box is 13” x 17” x 5”, and it is a good and interesting piece. Ref:- TCS203
