19th Century French Four Glass Striking Mantle Clock c.1890
French four glass brass mantle clock which is in a rectangular brass case with bevelled glass panels. It has an off-white enamelled dial with black gothic arabic numerals and shaped hands. An 8-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a coiled gong. Mercury compensated pendulum with twin vials and working Brocot suspension. Supplied with winding keys.
