19th Century Scottish Copper and Brass Toddy Kettle on Stand

A fine example of a 19th century Scottish copper and brass Toddy kettle on its stand for hot ash or pug. The copper and brass body has a good brazed seam to the body and original turned wood handle. The base has a removable crucible for hot ash or a pug to keep the water warm. The kettle tips to pour from the stand. The original brass stand again has its turned wood handles, and stands on four cup feet. Overall height 12.5cm, 9.5 inches from spout to back.
