Description
For sale is this ebonised chair in the Anglo-Japanese style. This is quite deceptive as its actually really well made underneath but shows the almost minimum use of back splats, yet retains its strength. Nice detailing on the sides too and in one continuous piece of wood, being carved. The back of the chair, as does the sides one would associate with the work of E.W.Godwin.
The chair is being sold as in the manner of Godwin. Please not there are some historic worm holes, mainly on the back and sides. These can be treated and the holes filled and ebonised.
This is modestly priced
