A magnificent, fine and impressive, large antique 1920s 14.84 carat diamond and platinum brooch; part of our diverse antique diamond brooches collection.
This magnificent, fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum.
This geometric Art Deco brooch is ornamented with a feature 1.25ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, claw set in relief to the centre.
The central diamond is flanked to either side with an impressive horizontal linear formation of five baguette cut diamonds, all channel set in subtle convex relief.
This central design is encompassed with a pieced decorated floriated design, incorporating ten pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
This scalloped style design is encompassed with a paralleling setting, accented with forty-six pavé set diamonds, providing anchor points for the extended border.
This central linear array terminates to either side with an impressive collet set 0.73ct and 0.66ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond.
The upper and lower portions of this substantial and intricately pierced decorated brooch are embellished with arched borders embellished with seventy pavé set diamonds, conjoining with the central design via two emanating tiered arrays of collet set baguette cut diamonds.
This symmetrical pierced decorated frame bears an impressive Art Deco lobed terminal to either side, each incorporating a splayed arrangement of collet set baguette cut diamonds.
These collared, lobed segments are each further ornamented with forty-four pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, completing the design.
This Art Deco brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and sheath fastening.
