This beautiful quality ring has a very large impressive opal cabochon which measures 19mm by 14mm and has a fantastic play of different colours including and predominantly red, greens, blues and oranges and has fantastic colour displays from every angle. The opal is set in a closed back setting and has lovely carving on the stone mount. This is really a spectacular and impressive antique ring and a must for opal lovers. The 18ct shank is not hallmarked and but has been tested 18ct and is hard to date but probably the early 20th century.
