Antique 1920s Limit Pocket Watch

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name. Hirst Brothers were founded in Oldham, UK in 1912. They imported Swiss watches and branded them with the brand name Limit, a name first registered in 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover. The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and has the logo Hb for Hirst Brothers. The case has light surface marking and a small “ding” on the back but overall it is in nice condition. The glass lens is in good condition. The signed dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks and a small surface scratch to the sub seconds dial although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.
