Description
A stunning, fine and impressive 7.16 carat diamond and platinum brooch; part of our antique diamond brooches collection. This stunning, fine and impressive diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated ribbon swag style setting is embellished to one side with a central array of individually collet set square cut diamonds and a curvilinear arrangement of eleven graduating channel set baguette cut diamonds to the other. The tapering ribbon design is ornamented with paralleling rows, accented with a total of sixty-one pavé set Old European cut diamonds, graduating in size depending on location. The central portion of the design is embellished with a scrolling tied design, accented with eleven further pavé set Old European cut diamonds, completing the design. This fine diamond brooch is fitted with a hinged pin and clip fastening to the reverse. The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This 1930s platinum and diamond brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading card. This brooch is a stunning and unusual design, set with a stunning combination of very high graded diamonds; this is a superior example of its type. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
