Antique Art Deco Supreme Violet Perfume Scent Bottle by The Bacorn Co c.1920

On offer is this attractive 1920s perfume bottle made by The Bacorn Co. of Elmira N.Y. for their Supreme Violet fragrance. This is a rare bottle as this company began trading in 1909 and ceased in 1927 due to a fire, so not many of these bottles were made. This perfume bottle measures 14 cm in height and is made of clear glass. The sides of the bottle are impressed with the company logo and the back is also impressed The Bacorn Co. Perfumers & Soap Makers Elmira N.Y. USA. The base of the bottle has a star cut design and the bottle is fitted with a frosted glass stopper which fits tightly into the cork lined neck. The original labels around the neck and the front of the bottle are in excellent order with no rips or tears and with good retained colours. Thank you for looking.
