Antique Diamond, Pearl and Blue Enamel 9ct Gold Pendant Necklace - C.1900

We are delighted to offer this splendid late Victorian/early Edwardian blue enamel pendant necklace made c.1900 in 9ct solid gold. Striking and distinguished from contemporary pieces, this pendant necklace features a wonderful deep blue enamel guilloche design in the centre with a fine floral/flower-like pattern underneath. The blue enamel has a gorgeous hue which is regal and mysterious in the shadows, yet presents a more transparent and vibrant tone when exposed to sunlight with a glossy surface. In addition to its rich enamelling, the centre is embellished with a single old cut diamond surrounded by a cluster of seed pearls. A wonderful accent and touch to the overall piece making it a truly splendid and charming antique piece. Modest in size yet opulent in colour, craftsmanship and intricacy, this necklace might just be the perfect piece for the discerning antique jewellery lover.
