It has brass dividers to create separate sections which are then mounted on an oak base. The whole piece rotates on brass splayed legs. This is the ideal piece for use as a book stand, magazine rack or paper rack. Both the brass and oak on this Edwardian antique bookcase have a good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
