Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Aide Memoire / Purse Chester 1902

A lovely antique sterling silver aide memoire / purse hallmarked for Chester 1902 by Charles Cooke, in blue velvet inlaid fitted case by original retailers M. Gerard of 411 Union Street, Aberdeen. Superb floral, scroll and flower head engraving on both sides. Measuring 11.5cm high and 8.5cm wide and weighing 111g (without box). The box still has the sticker of the retailers on the back. In good antique condition, it is engraved with later initials Ajw? And a date of 5th June 1909. The hallmarks are good. There are a few dings and scratches, the leather interior is marked in places (see all photos), otherwise in good order.
