Antique French Mokins Blown Glass Purse Perfume Scent Atomiser Bottle c.1900

On offer is this antique perfume atomiser bottle manufactured circa 1900 by Mokins of Paris. This antique scent bottle is a purse sized bottle and was known as a pistolet a parfum (perfume pistol) referring to the shape of the bottle. The bottle is made of hand blown striped glass in clear with green and pink alternating stripes. The bottle retains the original brass chain and cap and is fitted with the original rubber atomiser bulb with crotchet cover. These antique Mokins bottles are very hard to come by now given how small and fragile they are. The bottle measures 7 cm in length from base to the top of the atomiser. This one is offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass body. The atomiser bulb has hardened with age. Thank you for looking.
