Description
This is a stunning German Art Nouveau antique solid brass letter rack and pen holder with stamp section.
Marked "Ges.Gesch Drgm 237670" on the bottom which means registered trade mark.
The lid at the front covers 3 small compartments which are used for storing stamps.
It has two slots for letters and 2 pins on the front rack where you would rest a pen.
Unusual spring loaded design, it folds down for storage or travelling.
Made in Germany at the beginning of the 20th Century (1900-1920)
