Antique Gothic Black Cabinet with Glazed Top and Carved Doors

A handsome antique cabinet dating to the Victorian era. The cabinet is made of solid mahogany and mixed woods and is not especially large, so perfect for a room with limited space. It is a well made piece which can be used for books or displaying treasured items. The cabinet splits into three sections for easy transportation, a top plinth, glazed middle section and cupboard base section. The base section has attractively carved doors and is set on dainty shaped legs, the doors open to reveal a single shelf. Above this is a glazed section with two adjustable shelves. The glazed doors are lockable and the key is present. I have hand painted this piece in my own mix of water based black paint before very lightly distressing the finish and waxing for protection. The finish is solid colour and is smooth and fairly matt. The interior has been left unpainted. Measurements height-153.5cm width-110cm depth-36cm top shelf measures 22cm high, middle shelf 22.5cms high and bottom shelf 23cms shelf width 92.5cms shelf depth 25cms (shelves are adjustable) The measurements are taken at the widest points.
