Description
This is an antique Oriental planter bowl. A Chinese, brass relief decorated jardinière pot, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
Distinctive example of 19th century Qing Dynasty decor that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Appealing tonality to the brass form with deep golden tones.
Circumference adorned with an engraved Greek Key border. Superb visual appeal to the fascia with relief falcon and foliate motif. Traditional character mark resides upon the base of the planter. The whole standing upon a trio of Falcon head legs with rounded toes.
This is an appealing antique Oriental planter, with distinctive relied bird forms and great colour. Delivered ready to display.
