Antique Perfume Scent Bottle Clear Cut Glass with Sterling Silver Lid - London 1899

Offered for your consideration is this fine quality antique dressing table scent bottle made of heavy clear cut glass. This perfume bottle has a globular shape and the glass is cut in a hobnail design and has deep star cut base. The bottle is fitted with a sterling silver screw lid full hallmarked for London 1899. The lid has attractive floral and scroll work decoration with a central blank cartouche. The lid pulls off to reveal a silver threaded collar and has a globular cut and faceted clear glass stopper. The stopper is a little loose so I believe it is a replacement. This antique perfume bottle is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures to the glass body, neck and inner stopper. The silver lid fits firmly and securely and has no dents or dings but has a slight crease to the top.
