Striking example with a fine appearance and vibrant interior finish displaying a desirable aged patina and in very good order throughout. Select stocks present superb grain interest and rich caramel hues. Octagonal form to the top with exquisite quarter book-matched finish. Set within the tapering form, the octagonal interior hosts a lidded compartment. Suite of small outer compartments ideal for cotton reels, and four pin cushions. Apron adorned with sash carvings and drop finial decorations. Inset, brass-lined lock in working order — key present. Acanthus carved collar accentuates the tapered trumpet support. Trio of extravagant cabriole legs with scrolled detail to knees and toes. Central drop finial sits between each leg with collared form. Riding smoothly upon a set of brass castors.
