Art Deco 1920's French Hand Painted Bakelite Miniature Powder Compact Rouge Pot

Here we have a rare art deco powder compact / rouge pot dating circa 1920 and measuring a petite 4 cm in diameter. This little rouge pot is made of bakelite and has a screw top lid with hand painted design featuring a glamorous lady holding up to her face a small posy of flowers and taking in their scent. The picture lid is signed on the side by the artist, Dadou. This little pot opens correctly with all screw threads intact and is empty inside. Under the lid is a glued glass mirror which is clear and reflective. This wonderful little bakelite powder compact is offered in very good condition with no flaws noted. Thank you for looking.
