Arts & Crafts Carved Oak Marriage Chest or Carved Coffer
This is a lovely old piece, and is in remarkably good condition for its age, the coffer has gothic carvings of Dragons and fauna on the front and sides. On the inside there are hand painted panels, each with flowers and a date, these probably represent the birthday and the wedding day of the bride to be.
A lovely and well looked after piece
The chest is 41” long, 18” deep and 17” high
