Blue Overlay Cut Glass Perfume Scent Bottle Atomiser with Sterling Silver Mount c.1930

This most attractive Art Deco perfume atomiser bottle dates to the 1930s and stands approx. 14cm in height and has a maximum width of approx 8cm. The bottle is made of beautiful bristol blue over clear glass which is elaborately cut with fans, stars, crosses and oval lenses. The bottle is fitted with a sterling silver collar and top marked Sterling Silver and bearing the maker's mark R&D. The bottle is engraved at the collar Tennis January 1937. The metal atomiser plunger and pump screw into the centre of the lid and this is marked with a patent number. The atomiser appears to be in working order. This antique perfume atomiser bottle is offered in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass body. The silver top has some creases and light dings and the metal pump is a little discoloured. Thank you for looking.
