Description
An original c.18th Georgian period, oak bow front corner cabinet, circa 1770. This bow front cabinet features a thumb moulded dentil cornice, over rounded plain double doors, flanked by fluted columns, on shallow plain thumb moulded plinth base. All original brass hinges and escutcheons, with original lock and working key. The interior has a green splatter painted finish, with 3 interior shelves. A charming period cabinet, full of originally, in very good condition, well presented, and very much ready for use.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This corner cabinet is in a very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. No damage or obvious signs of repair, the interior has been later repainted. All original brasses, hinges, lock and key. Original back boards. Some marks and blemishes, including some well polished in scratches and bruises. Never French polished. Sensitively cleaned and waxed, now very much ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
