Crimean Landscape, Russia - Early 20th Century

A delightful Crimean sketch with a view of the coastal stones, buildings and mountains on a hot summer afternoon. In the picture, the mobility of a windy day is felt. It is built on multidirectional vectors of movement of the sea, and clouds rising to the mountains. The diagonal composition is balanced by three poplar verticals and a green-roofed house that gives a sense of the presence of people.
