Delightful Little Light Oak Stool with Tapestry Top c.1930

Such a delightful little footstool with great looking darker oak tipped legs and period tapestry of an abstract tree branch and leaf design in tones of blue and stone. It's a straightforward looking stool with a good colour to the oak with the darker tips giving it a real Deco feel as does the tapestry. We have day to day wear and we would assume the stool frame has enjoyed a historic re-polish but that's fine. The tapestry is lightly worn and still of pleasing colour and condition. Billy Hunt has successfully focused on British furniture and lighting since 2014 and always has an interesting ever changing selection of carefully chosen pieces from the early 1800s to late 1970s. Our base is a large Victorian 2 storey red brick barn on a wonderful traditionally run country estate in Staffordshire. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item.
