This is an oak cased dial wall clock of small proportions An 8" painted dial signed 'E Sermon, Torquay' with blued steel hands. An oak case with a brass bezel surround. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism by W & H. Edward Sermon of Torquay were jewellers at 10, Victoria Parade in the late Victorian and the early 20th century.
