Description
This is a fully working early 1960s barograph in a polished mahogany case by well known makers, Casella Ltd, London. It has bevelled glass to the lift off lid and a chart drawer to the base. The brass base to the movement is engraved by the makers together with reference number 891.
From the mid 60s these instruments were labelled with an applied brass plaque allowing a retailers name to fitted.
Note! the original lacquer on the brass base has partly 'bloomed' and could easily be polished out.
A quantity of weekly charts is included together with a fresh bottle of special blue recording ink and a reprinted 1930s pamphlet by Negretti & Zambra describing operating instructions and how to interpret typical chart recordings.
