Handsome English oak plans chest, with six drawers, and original brass cup-handles and card-plates. Splits in two parts for ease of delivery. A lovely golden oak colour, with a number of marks to the top, and general wear consistent with age, but nothing off-putting on a working piece such as this. There is a worn makers label to inside of the upper drawer, and all interiors are clean – some marks to the upper three drawers, and fairly pristine to the lower three. All six drawers run freely. Some slotted screws have been added at some point from the sides, which I have not attempted to disguise, but barely register, and the whole piece stands firm. A nice example of its type, and becoming harder to find. I believe this is classed as A1 size.
