This clock has its original enamel dial masked by an ormolu front panel. It is a gong striking clock, strikes the hourly. Finished to a high standard of craftmanship. The clock looks absolutely stunning on display. It is in good working order, comes complete with double ended winding key. The clock is an 8-day French carriage clock, it keeps relatively good time and has a rectangular beveled viewing window to see the original platform balance in action.
