Description
This is a fine quality 19th Century (c.1870) Victorian antique walnut jewellery box, the top and front profusely inlaid with parquetry, the canted corners inlaid with tulipwood. The top has a central mother of pearl cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.
The box has been re-lined in a plush red velvet.
It has a working lock and key.
