Koos Limburg Jnr. was born in the Netherlands, but has lived in Scotland since 1994 Over the years he has build up a well established and well respected antique business by participation only on important antique fairs in the UK as well as at the continent. Description
Finely made Louis Philippe mahogany and ormolu portico clock with warm colour mahogany case with original patination, the original ormolu (bronze doré) in original condition finely cast and chased, the original harp shaped pendulum with star decoration on silvered background, also the dial is silvered with nice blued hands. The 8 day movement is fully cleaned and serviced, striking every 30 minutes on a bell, the movement is stamped inside with a crowned M and on the back plate stamped Etablissement De Paris and Medaille D’or Paris 1827.

Still on the original turned mahogany feet. Overall in wonderful original condition with nice old patination in fully working order. To your information, all the clocks we sell are fully serviced, this is done in our own workshop. The movements are dismantled and fully cleaned and our clocks are in working order.
