Fitted Steamer Trunk or Cabin Wardrobe, by Excelsior USA
Superb piece of history dating back to the time when your luggage would be taken to your cabin.
This one is canvas and metal bound, the trunk opens out and lifts at the top. On one side there is a pull out wardrobe section with the original hangers, a lift out luggage box and leather strapping which holds an ironing board. On the opposite side there are 3 deep outward swinging drawers, the interior is lined with a patterned fabric. One of the latches has a piece missing as is the key but the lock has it has Excelsior USA stamped on it so we know the origins of the trunk
The Trunk is 42” tall , 22” wide and 22” deep
