French Early 19th Century Burr Walnut Commode * French circa 1815-1830 Charles X era * Burr walnut book matched veneer * Gris St Anne Belgian marble top * Original finish with superb colour and patina * 4 drawer configuration * Gilt bronze handles and escutcheons * Plinth with raised shaped bracket feet A large handsome burr walnut commode of four drawers underneath a Gris St Anne Belgian marble top in original finish with superb colour and patina dates back to the Charles X era circa 1815-1830. The front is veneered in well chosen book matched burr walnut veneers. This lovely commode is raised on a plinth with shaped bracket feet and also retains its original intricate gilt bronze handles and escutcheons.
