Handsome French fruitwood table, with classic square tapering legs, and pegged tenons, and beautifully tight boards to the top. There is a single drawer to the long side, which still has the original turned handle. Lovely condition, with just light wear consistent with age, and a few minor worm holes but nothing live. The top has been newly washed-back and waxed, to reveal the beautiful figuring to the wood. There are two cut-outs to the apron at each end, that would originally have allowed for extension leaves to be added.
A comfortable six seater, but would just about seat eight.
